Cross Country Training

Cheshire Hunt North Training Day & Camp
CHN’s annual camp is being held at Somerford Park from 20-23 July. This year they will be holding a training day on Thursday 20 July. This is open to all pony club members aged 11+. It will include 3 x ridden sessions, including XC, as well as stable management and test training. Use of a stable and lunch is included. The day will be ideal for new combinations or those just wanting to benefit from the fantastic facilities and excellent instruction. Current timings are 9-4pm, with the final timings and timetable tbc once we have a better idea of numbers.
They also still have spaces on both their main and mini residential camps over the following dates:
- Main camp (11 years and over) – Wednesday 19th – Friday 21st July. Cost £220 per person
- Mini camp (under 11 years – parents to stay) – Friday 21st July to Sunday 23rdJuly. Cost £220 per person
- For both main and mini camp the price includes the cost of two nights stabling, 2 bales of shavings, ridden tuition (at least twice daily), stable management sessions, test training and badges

Duck Race
Thank you so much to everyone who supported the Fund Raising evening last Friday, by buying a duck, raffle ticket, donating prizes, making cakes and turning up on the night.
127 Ducks were sold and Catrin Morgan won the £50, Sue Clarkson from Efenechtyd won £30 and Maisie Kell the £20.
£750 was raised in all and a lot of fun was had, even though some of us got rather wet.
Good luck to the members who have been chosen to play on the Polocrosse team and also to be on the Welsh BD team.
