Hunter Trials & Tetrathlon

Thank you to all the members who supported this event. It was great to see so many of you.

What a weekend we had. It was brilliant and BIG thank you to Iona, Gareth and Rhian for all their hard work and for allowing us to use their farm and such a lovely little XC course.

We had 31 F&D competitors forward. All were put into teams of 3 or 4.  Altogether, there were 10 teams competing and the winning team was East Cheshire Branch with a score of 11652. SECOND placed team was Alys and Megan Evans, Catrin Morgan and Zoe James with a score of 11528, so it was very close.  They were the only 4 competitors to have a 1400 ride score so well done.

All scores are on Pony Club Results online.

There were some very young F&D members having a go at the Beanie classes and they had a lovely time.  There were some real achievements notably:

  • Arwyn Woosnam, Ella North, Catrin Morgan and Zoe James all had over 900 points for the Swim.
  • Zoe James, Max and Ella de Gregory, Anni Morgan, Peter Davies Cooke and Joseff James  all gained 900+ points for their Swim.
  • Ella North was given the F&D prize for the highest shoot and WON the Mini Girls class.
  • Catrin WON the Tadpole class. Ella de Gregory WON the Beanie Girls, Peter Davies Cooke WON the beanie Boys, Halle Rosser WON the Pre Beanies and Ioan James WON the Pre Beanie Boys.
