Rally at Equiti on Wednesday 1st November
We are looking to run a fun ‘Gymkhana/Games’ type rally with hot dogs and sweets on Wednesday 1st November, but need a rough guide on number of riders so we can book appropriate hours. AREA 5 WINTER LEAGUE TEAM & INDIVIDUAL SHOW JUMPING COMPETITION WITH INTRODUCTORY AND ADVANCED CLASSES
TO BE HELD AT SOMERFORD PARK FARM, HOLMES CHAPEL ROAD, SOMERFORD, nr CONGLETON, CW12 4SW ON SUNDAY 1st OCTOBER 2023
As there are no preliminary classes for the 2024 Pony Club Barrier Spring Festival competition, this has enabled us to put on additional classes which will open the competition to all ages and abilities, from cross-poles (sectioned assisted and unassisted), through 40cm and 50cm.
The WL classes start at 60cm.
We expect to run two arenas, with the smaller height classes starting in one Arena and the larger height classes in the other. The split between the two will be decided after the close of entries to ensure, as far as possible, a balanced number in each Arena.
The classes in each Arena will run in height order, lowest height first, and will be single phase. That is, the course is divided into two sections – section A, over 5 to 7 obstacles, to be untimed or time allowed; section B, over 5 to 7 obstacles, to be timed. Maximum 12 obstacles in total.
Classes 1 – 3 will be over a reduced number of obstacles in each section with a maximum of 10. Class 1 will be sectioned – Assisted and unassisted.

Congratulations
Congratulations to Georgia Wilson and her horse Sakura who won a silver medal at the European championships, para dressage freestyle to music and a silver medal in the Grand Prix B. The team won the Bronze medal. Georgia is a former member of our Branch.
