Entry Master Booking System

It will soon become mandatory for Pony Clubs to record their members participation in Club events as the new Booking Systems are rolled out across all Branches.

If your, your children’s and their ponies details are not fully recorded in Entry Master, it will place extra work on the Entry Master Secretaries if you book in late or require us to move you to a different event (for whatever reason).

Full details include: title, first name, surname, email, telephone, address including postcode, rider’s name as recorded in Pony Club membership, Pony Club Number, Horse/Pony name.

Entry Master are investigating why previously registered participants details (prior to FnD use) do not appear to have come through. Please ensure that you have registered your riders name and PC number in your profiles!

Competitions

Well Done to all Flint & Denbigh members who have been out and about representing their Branch and competing recently.

We have had members competing at Winter League Dressage Final, Winter League Show Jumping Final , Area 5 Quiz & Horse & Pony Care Competition, Welsh Games Trials, Triathlon and also members doing really well at Polocrosse & BD. Too many to mention but WELL DONE.

Winter League Show Jumping Final

Area 5 of the Pony Club hosted the final Winter League Competition at Northop. The sun was shining and a great time was had by all and there were additional classes put on which accommodated everyone.

  • Class 1 (30cm assisted) had our future WL riders competing: Anni, Nansi, Tomos, Ioan, Joseph, Finley and Eos. Well done to them all. 2nd place went to Nansi, 4th place went to Anni and 6th place went to Eos.
  • Class 2 (30cm) Eos was placed 1st on her new pony. Looking forward to seeing more of them as a pair. Well done to Elsie Lynch competing HC on her home produced pony, Rex.
  • Class 3 (40cm) Morgana riding her new pony to be placed 2nd, and Elsie was placed 5th. Well done girls.
  • Class 4 (50cm) Morgana was placed 4th, Zoe was placed 5th and an error of course for Summer resulted in being eliminated, after what seemed like a beautiful round.
  • Class 5 (WL 60cm) Well what a busy class! Lots of fantastic riders from our Branch. The riders were: Alys, Elliw, Catrin, Eos, Megan and Hero. Congratulations to Catrin for individual 5th place. Our WL team finished in 2nd place, whilst Eos and Hero were placed 1st as part of a mixed team. Well done to you all. F&D WL team were placed 3rd overall throughout the season, and Catrin was joint 3rd individually. What a great start to the riders first season at competing at WL.
  • Class 6 (WL 70cm) Where do I start! Today was definitely an F&D kind of day for all of our competitors: Summer, Poppy, Catherine, Elsie, Esyllt, Eeliw, Morgana, Hero, Lleucu and Catrin.
F&D Reds team (WL) were placed 1st and F&D Blacks team were placed 2nd and the mixed team with Lleucu riding in was placed 5th. Individual placings went to Summer who was 3rd and Lleucu placed 5th having taken over the reins of Macsen’s pony for the day due to him injuring himself the day before. Our 70cm team have ridden consistently throughout the season meaning they won overall as a team – absolutely fantastic performance from them all. Summer has been on top of the leader board throughout the season and she was awarded 1st place individually, well deserved. Poppy has also held her place throughout and was placed 2nd overall. This group of young riders are an asset to our club as they won overall last season too when they were all riding in the 60cm classes. Absolutely amazing achievement.
  • Class 7 (80cm) Another strong number of F&D riders in this class: Ceri, Isobel, Elsie, Summer, Lleucu, Catherine and Morgana. Ceri, Isobel and Elsie were our WL riders in this class, rules restricted running a team of four. No team placings except for Summer who was riding as part of a mixed team who were placed 4th. Summer was also placed individual 4th. Great effort to them all, and hopefully next season there will be enough of them to ride as a team of 4.
  • Class 8 (90cm) Amber was our only rider in this class, she rode a great clear round as part of a mixed team who were placed 4th. She missed out on individual placing by one place. Well done Amber.
  • Class 9 (1m) Again only Amber from F&D. She rode as a mixed team again and they were placed 3rd as team. The jumps are definitely an impressive height so a great effort from Amber.
  • To end the day there was a pairs competition which is always fun to watch! Congratulations to Isobel and Amber who came 1st and to Poppy and Summer who were placed 2nd. I would have like to have seen that class!
  • Then the Miller sisters rode as a pair and were placed 2nd in the next pairs class. Well done girls.

Congratulations to all our members throughout the season.
