The Weekly Update …

is our way of keeping all the members up to date and aware of information about Competitions, Change of Dates, Rules and Results etc, it is also put onto the Flint and Denbigh Hunt Branch of the Pony Club website every week.

If you do not receive the Update for any reason or delete it or can not open attachments, please check the website under Iona’s Weekly.

All the Fixture Lists are also on the website along with Results and Reports. We are always looking for photographs and news for the website, so if you have any thing you think should be included please email to the webmaster.

  • Endurance – Merlin ride

Cheshire Branch of Endurance GB are running a ride at Delamere Forest on 27th April. By agreement, the shorter route of 16km (10 miles) will qualify as a Merlin ride and the mileage can be added to your Pony Club Mastercard. Riders under 13 will need accompanying by an adult.

Details of other training/Merlin/Kestral rides will be issued shortly. Please check the new fixture list when it comes out.

  • Endurance – Regional Qualifier

The Regional Qualifier for the North West will be held at Tebay on 19th May 2013. You will need to attend this ride and qualify if you wish to take part in the National Endurance Champs at Cholmondeley in August.

Congratulations & Well Done to Meg Goodey for being selected to compete in a “By Invitation” Tetrathlon at Windsor Horse show. She will be in a team of 3 representing Wales.

Some teeth missing but still a formidable Tetrathlon team – The Teletubbies – especially for the future!
