What a time we all had. The sun shone (a bit !) and 25 “fit” athletes shot, rode, swam and ran their socks off. Each and every one of them did their very best for their teams.
We had 7 F ‘n D teams competing.
- The highest placed (came 3rd) F’n D team was Meg Goodey’s (Captain) team “Girls Aloud” with Mia, Neisha Roberts and Ceri Jones.
- Ben Read’s “Take That” team came 4th with Huw Jones, Archie McParland and Dylan Griffith.
- The 5th team was “Little Mix” who were Megan Woodcock, Emily McParland, Steph Parsley and Anna Thomas.
There was great team spirit throughout the day. Every F’n D member (except one) came home with a rosette or medal and everyone enjoyed themselves. Mostyn was an ideal venue and thank you to Paul and Geoff for allowing us to be there.
I cannot mention everyone but notable individual achievements were:-
- Huw Jones – top shoot(840) and top swim.

- Megan Woodcock – top run
- Jac Evans – Top shoot (760)
- Ben Read and Orlagh both shooting 900 !
- Madeline Maher – top shoot 860
- Anna Thomas shooting 880.
The team which stole the day was the F’n D “TeleTubbies” –
- Lili Young (6),
- Scarlett Owen (7),
- Orla (3) and
- Imogen Kissane(6) – a team to watch for the future !
Congratulations to Meg Goodey for being selected to compete in a “By Invitation” Tetrathlon at Windsor Horse show. She will be in a team of 3 representing Wales.
On the 29th May we are holding XC Training and shooting at Mostyn. Come along and have a go!
