Well, you did it!!  Flint and Dembigh have won all four of the Winter League classes!!

We had a super day at Somerford Park on Saturday and Polly Hancox and her team did a great job with the day, finishing by 5pm.

We had a couple of last minute hitches in Class 1 but Georgia Jones and Emily Cummings saved the day by coming in last minute to help Sophie Wilson and Tegan Houston secure a league win with Emily and Calvin having an Individual 4th.

Our Class 2 team wasn’t placed this time but individually Libby Edwards and Eleri Reece Jones did lovely double clears with Eleri just missing a rosette in 7th place.

Class 3 was won by our non league team which consisted of two 5 year olds!!  One of them, Stan, ridden by Brier Leahy was individually 4th and the rest of the team, Joslyn Fedricks, Megan Goodey and Lauren Roberts rode super rounds.

Class 4 Winter League team were 3rd, securing the overall league title, and we think Hollie was 3rd individually?!? ( Forgotten in the excitement)

The Dengie area final was held on Saturday too with quite a few of our Flint and Denbigh members qualified and Flint and Denbigh’s Lily Anne Pardoe triumphed with a 4th place qualification.

The Open Dengie qualifier was also very keenly fought for with some very fast rounds but in the end it was Hollie Blockley and Billy from our branch who secured her qualification with second place.  Good luck to both our girls in the final at Moreton Morrell on March 31st.
