Burton Cheshire Forest Dressage Competition
Please find attached the schedule for BCF Dressage next Sunday 9th October and the WL Friendly Dressage Rules.
The Rules
The overriding objective is to encourage members to enter, so these have purposely been kept to minimum. Allow members to compete at some dressage competitions during the winter months providing them with practise before the Area Final for the Barrier Spring Festival Championships 2023. As you will see there are individual and teams, similar to the Barrier Spring Festival 2023.
Branches can also add additional classes, if you so wish.
Dates
To avoid competing events/clashes, please refer to the dates etc for the Area which are live at https://branches.pcuk.org/area5/competition-and-events/
The dressage dates, on the Area calendar are so far:-
- 9th October – B&CF
- 20th November – F&D
- 9th January – Anglesey
- 15th January – SF Area Final – B&CF
If any Branches wish to hold a competition, and be included as part of the Winter League, please do let me know.
Entry Fees
It has been suggested the entry fees for all WLDr classes are £15, with the exception of the Walk Trot Class being £10.
Scoring and Results
In advance, a thank you to Iona Pierce for kindly agreed to take on the role of being WLDr secretary. It is hoped everyone will move towards using Pony Club Scoring and Results, which will make keeping track of all results, not just the Winter League classes, easier.
