The Berkeley Group Pony Club Championships, Cholmondeley Castle, 17th – 21st August – please help us

Volunteers are the lifeblood of The Pony Club, and we are sending this activation e-mail to ask for your help and support at our biggest event of the year.

To produce this event we need between 160 and 200 voluntary positions filled every day and therefore can’t deliver this fantastic event without your help.

The 200 roles include fence judges, commentators, tack checkers, scorers, collecting ring stewards, buggy drivers, starters, dressage judges, mounted games linesmen and stewards, as you know there is a lot to do.

With such a wide variety of horses, ponies and young people represented at the National Championships which happens straight after the Tetrathlon and Flannels Polo Championships this is unsurprisingly the biggest week of the year for The Pony Club.

Please find this year’s timetable available to download here.

To volunteer please fill in the form by clicking here: Register to Volunteer

On the form please specify your availability and provide as many details as possible about your preferred roles, sports and timings. If there are people you would like to be paired with to fence judge for example, or roles you would rather avoid please note these so that we can match as closely as we can your preferred roles to our specific requirements.

If your situation or availability changes – please can you let us know. Please also notify us of any dietary or mobility requirements.
