Flint & Denbigh members representing Wales

Three Flint and Denbigh members travelled over to Cheshire Polo Club on Tuesday to train with the Wales Polocrosse team in preparation for the Pony Club Polocrosse tournament that took place over the weekend. Katie Davies played in the Senior section of the Wales team with Isabella and Daisy Stone playing in the Junior section. The whole team played brilliantly with the Senior section coming second overall to Scotland and the Junior team coming third. Wales also won the new Team Shield trophy which is awarded to the team who demonstrate the best care of their ponies over the week, who worked best as a team and who demonstrated team spirit with a willingness to learn and improve. This was very special as it was dedicated this year to Chuna who was Isabella’s Polocrosse Pony.
