Christmas Fancy Dress Rally

Bookings close on Wednesday 7th for the Xmas Fancy Dress Rally at Ystrad. Hope to see lots of smart Fairies, Elves and Santas.

Mounted Games Rally

The last mounted games rally is on Saturday 17th December at Tyddyn Farm. Feel free to come in Christmas fancy dress. £5 each. Please register using the link above or on the Bookings page on the website. You don’t need to contact Fran first, but please let her know which group you’re attending:

  • 10-11am: Seniors and Pairs (12+ yrs)
  • 11am-12pm: Juniors (under 12yrs, riding independently)
  • 12-1pm: lead rein and just off lead rein

If numbers are low, sessions will be combined (Fran will email if so).

Christmas Ride

Christmas ride for 9 and under on Sunday 18th December. Ride to see Father Christmas at his Grotto. A magical day! 10am start. £5 at Trefnant. Names to Mari.

Show Jumping Competition 

At Hafod Equestrian Arena. Trefnant LL16 4UN on Bank Holiday Monday 2 January 2023 

All money raised will go towards buying Field Shelters for the Rescue Ponies. 

All classes will be 2 rounds. The second round will be timed. 

£10 per class.  Entries will Close on Thursday 28th December.

  • Class 5 60 cms 
  • Class 6 70 cms

Llysfaen Jumping Rally with Richard Jones

The Great Pony Club Hacking Challenge

Any members can take part – follow the link for more information and to sign up (£5 for 12 months). Any rides out of the arena count, and this is a great opportunity to earn your Mileage Badge (which comes from PCUK), as well as Countryside Access, Fitness, Map Reading, Rider Fitness, and work towards Endurance Badges.
