Membership Renewal Reminder
Your Pony Club membership needs renewing NOW. It will come to an end 31st January this year, no leniency into February at all. If not paid by 31st Jan you will need to join as a new member. You can pay online or use the Form emailed to you.
Winter League Show Jumping Results – Cheshire Hunt South
Well done to everyone who competed on Sunday at Southview for the Cheshire Hunt South Winter League competition.
Class 1a team came 3rd and Isobel Miller came individual 6th. Class 1b team came 2nd, and Isabella Stone came 2nd and Amber Bellis came 4th individually. Cheshire Hunt South non winter league team came 1st, which mean Flint & Denbigh have the winning six points for that class. Keep up the great team work! Eben and Faye were the only members in class 2 so no team points for them unfortunately.
Please get your entries in for the next competition that’s being held at Northop on 2nd February. Entries close Saturday 25th January.
Training is on Thursday 23rd at Equiti. Please contact Bethan Edwards if you want to attend.
Llandyrnog AGM
A big thank you to all who attended the AGM and Party on Friday 17th January. Hope you all enjoyed the fun. Your support throughout the year is very much appreciated. Thank you also for my hamper. I am working my way through it. Iona.
TRIATHLON MOLD 12th January 2020
There was huge entry (164) at the Area 5 Triathlon in Mold on 12th January. 35 Teams competed. Flint & Denbigh had 3 teams there and they did the branch proud. They were amazing – every one of them. The teams came 3rd and 4th and had I arranged the teams slightly differently, we would have come second. The 3rd placed team was Leah H, Daisy S, Nathan C and Constance W – Nathan was 3rd Jun Boy, Leah was 3rd in her first Jun class with a one handed shoot of 900, Constance 5th Mini G and Daisy 7th Mini. The 4th placed team 3 x Kissanes and Isabella S – Orla Kissane was an amazing 3rd Mini G, Casper 2nd BB, Imogen 4th Jun G and Isabella 6th Jun G with a one handed shoot of 900! A very young team of Eos N, Macsen N and Ben and Helen J all aged 8/9 came a creditable 15th.
Well done ALL and thank you to the parents who helped on the day: we could not have managed the day without you.
Next Triathlon 8th March is a qualifier so get your entries in early as there may be a limit put on entries.
