Camp applications

Please could all mini camp application forms be sent by 28th April (this Thursday) and payments be made by 8th May. Forms to be sent to Bethan Jones (dc@fndponyclub.org.uk), payments to be made online through the branch booking system. We will not be accepting any applications after this date due to a shortage of instructors.

Success at the British School of Racing

Congratulations to Maisie Lester for being offered a place at the British School of Racing in Newmarket. She scored the highest marks on her fitness test on the day from her group and was offered her place on the day.

Road Rider Badge

Congratulations to Helen and Isabelle who passed their main road rider badges with Chrissie this week.

Horse and Pony Care Competition – Results

Congratulations to the members that took part in the competition on Sunday. They looked very smart and represented the Branch against many Area 5 teams.

The mini team was:

They came 4th.

Junior team was:

• Esyllt
• Lena
• Catrin

They came 6th.

Well done to you all.

Pony Club Polocrosse Arena Challenge

Leia, Isabella and Daisy all travelled down to Dallas Burston Polo Club in Warwickshire this weekend for the Pony Club Polocrosse Arena Challenge. They had a brilliant weekend and came second for Flint and Denbigh in the Open Junior section. This was fantastic as Daisy had been very kindly allowed to ride Katie Davies’ horse Little V but had only started riding her that week so it was a steep learning curve for the team. Isabella’s horse Chuna was also awarded best horse in the Junior section. Well done girls!
