UKCC L3 Dressage coach, BD youth coach and assessor Steph Bradley (plus occasionally guest BD coaches!) has dedicated some sessions for F&D Pony Club riders in her new monthly Dressage club – sessions from 1pm-3:15pm. Shared lesson £25 each for 45 minutes. Excellent indoor and outdoor arenas at this BD event centre.

Winter League Show Jumping – Results

The weather was definitely cold but that didn’t put anyone off from attending our Winter League Competition held at Maelor on Sunday. It started with the warm up arena being frozen solid which meant riders had to warm up indoors, then we had rain and snow but thankfully it soon cleared up. Well done to the stewards who braced the cold and wet weather. We would like to thank each and everyone of you who helped us run the day so smoothly and on time.

  • Class 1 had nine riders from Flint and Denbigh with the Red team coming 1st. Summer Bellis was placed individual 2nd and Poppy Miller individual 3rd.
  • Class 2 was also a busy class, unfortunately no team placings but well done to Georgia Hogan being placed individual 5th.
  • Both F&D teams were placed in class 3, with great riding from all of our member, the F&D Red WL team were placed 3rd and the Black team were placed 4th. Georgia Hogan was placed individual 3rd and Constance Wight was placed individual 6th, fantastic riding from all of you.
  • Amber Bellis and Constance Wight rode amazingly in class 4 both being placed individually, well done Amber winning the class on her new horse Milly. Constance also on a fairly new ride Cinders were placed 3rd individually.

Great riding from all of you and definitely some league points were gained this weekend. You are all a credit to our Pony Club.
