Lunge Training
November 28th and December 12th at Hafod Equestrian Centre, Trefnant, at 5pm. Cost £15 each. Contact Meg ASAP (area5@pcuk.org).
You do not have to be aiming at the test but ideally should have your C+.
Flint & Denbigh Winter League Show Jumping Competition
Flint and Denbigh Hunt Branch Winter League competition held at Maelor November 28th. Please get your entries in by November 24th. Please email Bethan Edwards with child’s name, pony’s name and what class you’ve entered once you have paid.
There is training held at Maelor, Thursday 25th. Priority will be given to the riders competing at the Winter League Competition on the 28th November.
Volunteers needed to help out. Please could members and parents let Bethan Jones know if they could help out on the day to steward or put up poles, for a half day or full day please (07887 722583).
Burton Cheshire Forest Hunt and Cheshire Hunt North Winter League Show Jumping

RDA Pony Club Badge
My name is Ben and I am the Equine Manager of Clwyd Special Riding Centre. I am writing to offer a helping hand if anyone would be interested in getting any of their members to do the Pony club RDA badge or find venues for their members to complete their YELA award hours.
We are always reliant of volunteers here at CSRC and as a charity we would be lost without them. I was one of the only members to do the RDA Badge back when I did Pony club at age 14 and eight years down the line I am still there!!
Some of the volunteer roles that need filling are:
- leading horses in sessions
- side walking with riders during sessions
- helping on the yard doing a multitude of tasks
- cleaning
- grooming and tack cleaning
- option for coaching training for older members that can dedicate the time
I am also a Young Equestrian Leaders Award ambassador. I am happy to help if any members want support and guidance to complete their awards while doing some of their hours with the RDA.
I am happy to either be a point of contact if anyone wants to get their PC branches involved with the centre or I am also happy to take the lead on some RDA training/lectures or badge work if that would help.
