Rallies and Training

Please could parents help clear away jumps and equipment after rallies or training sessions. Your help is greatly appreciated and helps the sessions run smoothly.

Winter League Show Jumping – Training

Winter League and Development training at Hafod y Green, Trefnant Sunday 12th September with Victoria Vaughan Thomas. Limited spaces available, please contact Bethan (showjumping@fndponyclub.org.uk) as soon as possible to book. Open to all who are jumping independently 40/50cm and above.

Area horse and pony care competition

Congratulations to Lleucu, Isabella and Daisy for finishing 4th out of 10 teams competing at the Area Horse and Pony care Competition held in Anglesey.

Winter League Show Jumping – Results

Last Saturday was the first competition of the Winter League season. Thank you to Anglesey and Gwynedd PC for hosting a great day at Anglesey County Showground.

We had two teams in class 1: Summer, Poppy, Joshua, Llinos, Catherine and Macsen all rode great and all won rosettes. The Winter League team finished 1st and the non-WL team finished 3rd. Summer on Beauty won individual 1st, Poppy 4th, and Summer on Annie 6th.

In Class 2 Seren Griffiths was part of a mixed team who were placed 1st, and Seren was individual 5th.
In Class 3 Isobel Miller and Emma Owen were part of a mixed team who were placed 4th.

Well done to Emma, Isobel and Amber who took part in the Spring Festival qualifier. Isobel was placed 5th but unfortunately missed out on qualifying by one place.

There were also unaffiliated classes running which was good for the riders wanting to see what WL is all about. Elliw won 1st in the 50cm class. In the 60cm class Poppy came 2nd, Llinos 3rd and Esyllt 4th. Isobel and Amber were placed 2nd in the pairs class.

Well done to you all, it was a very early morning start but worth it.>
