Team Selections

Congratulations and Well Done to the F&D members who have been selected for Teams recently.

  • Leah Lamb represented the Welsh Team at the International Tetrathlon Competition in Moreton Morrell, Warwickshire. The Team came 2nd.
  • Rosie Connor has been chosen as first reserve to represent Wales in Mounted Games at the Royal Windsor Horse Show in July.
  • Daisy Stone has been chosen to play Polocrosse at The Four Nations Competition, which will be held at the Cheshire Polo Club.

Mini Farming Badge

Thank you to Helen and Edward Morgan for hosting the mini farming badge and fun day at Carreg Y Llech , Treuddyn. The members were shown around the milking parlour and given a talk about dairy farming, they then went on a ride around the fields and had great fun doing the handy pony/hunt relay.

Congratulations for attains the D, D+ and C tests

Lleucu Newton, Seren Griffiths, Iolo Griffith and Huw Griffith passed the C test riding and Care; Mali Roberts and Ellie Richardson passed horse care; Constance Wight passed her riding. Well done all.

Dressage Clinics

We had 2 lovely days over half term for our dressage clinics. Attendees had a session in the school, a theory session learning about rules, turnout and learning tests followed by a session in the dressage arena practising tests. It was a great day enjoyed by all. Thanks to Jane & Lucy Grindal for hosting the Clinic at Ty Mawr, Rosemary Clark & Lucy Grindal for delivering excellent tuition and Rebecca Miller for organising.
