Area 5 Dressage
Entries for Area 5 Dressage competition close on Friday 2nd July so anyone who intends to enter and hasn’t already done so, please let Rebecca Miller (dressage@fndponyclub.org.uk) know what class you are going to enter and enter online at https://www.horse-events.co.uk/.
Cheshire Shield – 6 month booster vaccinations
See attached guide to rules for passports and vaccinations.
- The Pony Club rule is for 12 month vaccinations except for “At competitions at Area level and above including Grassroots Regional Championships and the finals of the Spring Festival competitions, the most recent booster injection must have been given within the six calendar months prior to the date of the competition.”
- The Cheshire Shield is, and always has been, a hybrid competition catering for riders from all categories, and although it includes a “competition at Area level” that is just one facet of it;
- The main purpose of the PC rule is to ensure that riders who may qualify for the Regional and National Championships are vaccinated to a common standard;
- Somerford Park Farm do not require a 6 month booster to visit the site.
