Winter League Show Jumping – Results

Well done to everyone who competed at Southview on Sunday for the Burton Cheshire Forest Winter League competition. A few riders had to pull out due to illnesses and we wish them all well very soon.

  • Class 1a team came 3rd, well done to Isobel who came 6th individually. Well done to the team, Lleucu, Daisy, Helen and Isobel.
  • Class 1b did well to be placed 4th with only three riders. Constance, Nansi and Isabella. Well done to Isabella for coming 1st, Nansi 5th and Lleucu 6th individually.
  • Class 2 team were Iri, Faye, Lili and Katy. They came 5th – well done girls. Great riding from Eben who rode as an individual.

Thank you for all your support this year, Flint and Denbigh are doing well on the league table. Next competition will be January 19th. Have a great Christmas and we will see you in the new year.

Branch Officials Training 2020

Training will be offered on a variety of key topics such as: Branch matters, IT systems, safeguarding, members training, coaching, health & safety, GDPR, finance and wellbeing. A lot of information will be provided so presentations used throughout the day will be circulated for you to reflect on. You will also receive a zip file (electronic) containing key documents and guidance. There will be some key volunteers in attendance who will provide you with the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. You will also get to network with other branch officials, share your ideas and gain some new opportunities for your members.

Who can attend?

Although the training is predominantly aimed at DCs, we have found a number of volunteers and committee members have found the training useful. Therefore, the training is open to anyone within the Branch. Branches are able to secure two places per course so we can maximise the opportunity for more volunteers to attend from across the UK.

What is the cost?

Places are free to book and lunch will be provided. Branches will need to cover the travel and overnight fees of the volunteers attending.

Branch Officials Training Dates:

All will be held at The Pony Club Office, Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, CV8 2RW.
