Report on Triathlon in Mold March 3rd

Once again, Flint and Denbigh shone at the Triathlon in Mold last weekend.  The team spirits were high and out of 24 teams competing, they were 2nd, 11th and 17th.  Team 2nd was Leah Lamb, Daisy Stone, Isabella Stone and Constance Wight. They were amazing !

Orlagh Toner managed to control her nerves and shot well which helped her to qualify for the Champs in Milton Keynes.  Will Stone came 2nd Jun Boy and has already qualified.  Nathan Cooper enjoyed his first Triathlon and has also qualified.  Constance Wight and Leah Lamb had equal top shoot with 900 and both Qualified.  Leah Lamb won the strong Mini Girls class.  Daisy Stone came 2nd in the Intro girls with a shoot of 920 and top swim. Eos, Macsen and Lleucu Newton enjoyed their day – Eos being the youngest there !

In the Trio of Triathlons competition, Leah Lamb won the Mini Girls overall and Daisy Stone won the Intro girls. Amazing Result.  Well done girls.

Camp Facebook Poll

We would like some idea of numbers for camp this year, so could we please ask members who are hoping to attend camp to indicate which camp by completing this poll on our Facebook page. A 10 year old can choose either Mini Camp Saturday 27th – Monday 29th July or Main Camp Monday 29th July – Friday 2nd August 2019. If you do not use Facebook, please let Iona know (secretary@fndponyclub.org.uk).

Area Final Dengie Dressage March 9th: Equine Flu Update

The following stipulation has been made by our venue and we will therefore be required to check all passports before horses are unloaded on arrival on the day. Please ensure that you all have your passports available and completed up to date when you arrive-also that they comply with the minimum Pony Club vaccination rules for competitions at Area level and above.

Equine Flu Update – We are opening as of tomorrow for commercial hire and competitions however, all visiting horses are required to have had a vaccination in the past six months. Please can all owners report to a member of staff or their club representative and have passports checked prior to unloading horses. Failure to do this will result in you being asked to leave. Thanks for your understanding and continued patience.

The times for Saturday’s final will be posted on the BCFH website from Wednesday evening. Good Luck to all competitors!

Area 5 B Test Care Training

At Pennant Park Riding Centre, Llwyn Ifor Lane, Whitford, Nr Holywell. CH8 9ER. Bookings to Meg Green (area5@pcuk.org). £10 per session – prepayment required please. You need not be trying the test in April to attend, which is on 15th April.
