East Cheshire Dressage Competitions

Please be aware of and make a diary note of these two forthcoming competitions, the Dengie classes of which are open to all – whether or not PC members. If you are NOT an ECBPC member, please use the relevant entry form attached.

Please like the PCUK Polo Facebook page @PonyClubPolo, where you will find details popping up of rallies/training which are open to everyone, including beginners. There is also a junior arena tournament on 24th October at Dallas Burston Polo Club. Pony Racing Training Days

The days are open to experienced and non-experienced Members.  The age limit for racing is 9-15 years on 1st January and these Autumn dates are aimed at those members wanting to have a go or those looking to start Pony Racing in 2019. The day will start at 9.30am and there will be sessions with a jockey coach, a fitness expert and then on the pony, a session in the school followed by going up the gallops.

The cost of the day is £30.00

Coaches are welcome to attend these days as part of their Coach Accreditation – please contact the organiser or The Pony Club Office for details.  The cost will be £10 (payable to the Pony Club Area) and you must attend the morning and afternoon session. (These are great days (especially the gallops) and Hilary Wakefield who is delivering the one in Aintree is excellent.)

Overseas Centres

An exciting opportunity for someone has arrived from Jamaica…. A Pony Club Centre in Jamaica is seeking an assistant immediately for  6 weeks (October + November) due to an instructor injury. Caymamas Pony Club is looking for a capable rider to school horses and ponies each morning and help the instructor with afternoon lessons, pony club exam training and an upcoming dressage show.  Candidates should be BHS trained, have Pony Club experience along with current British passport, airfare provided (Gatwick International).
