Six of Meg’s Flint and Denbigh Tetters ventured over the Border today, 3rd February 2018 to the Area 4 triathlon qualifier at Merchant Taylors’ boys school with epic results all round.
A 5th in the pre mini girls for 5 year old Elsie lynch who had a PB in all disciplines, a win for Leah in the mini girls with a best shoot of 980 and 2nd place in both the swim and the run.
Daisy stone came 6th in the mini girls with a PB in the swim and sister Isabella just missing out on a rosette with 7th place a PB in the swim and an amazing 3rd place in the shoot!
Archie lynch won the mini boys class with best run and best swim and Will Stone won the junior boys section with best swim and run!
We had 2 teams in today’s competition and Flint and Denbigh Team 1 which consisted of Leah, Archie and Will took team 1st out of 18 teams and because all were placed 1st in their classes, they all qualified for the tri championships in Milton Keynes in March.
