Camp

All parents / guardians of campers are expected to help set up camp on Thursday 21st July, from 6.30pm If you have volunteered to help set up the tack tent please bring tools with you (hammers, sledgehammer,  etc).

If you have volunteered to strim the nettles  , please bring strimmer.

We will need help setting up show jumps, dressage arenas, ride sites, checking turnout fields, connect water tanks, etc.

Last chance to order Camp T-Shirts – contact Iona if you would like to order, stating Main or Mini camp, and size. She will then be able to let you know the cost ASAP (secretary@fndponyclub.org.uk).

Riding and Road Safety Test

Congratulations and Well Done to Lily Ann Pardoe and Lucy Roberts for passing their Riding and Road Safety Test, and also to Leia Lloyd Williams, Lili Young, Amy Williams, Philippa Smith Edwards & Izzy Welch for gaining the Roadrider Achievement badge.

Coaching Step 2 Course

Pony Club Branch Members survey – win a £25 Joules voucher!

We are currently undertaking some research around our Membership experience, and what we can do to improve it further. Pony Club Endurance Championships 2016

Please note that the Endurance Championships 2016 will be held on Sunday 16th October at Campbell Park, Central Milton Keynes. The Organiser of the event is Nikki Parsler, with the help of The Whaddon Chase Branch and The Cromwell Group of EGB. Non-Qualifying Competitions at the Berkeley Group Pony Club Championships

Please note that we are sending the following email tonight to Branch and Centre Members regarding non-qualifying competitions at the Berkeley Group Pony Club Championships.

We now have several competitions as part of The Berkeley Group Pony Club Championships, that Members do not have to qualify for. These include the Elite Competitions, for Dressage, Show Jumping and Eventing, which are a great opportunity for Members to step up a level, and also the Dressage to Music competitions for individuals and pairs. We would love to see as many of you taking part in these as possible, and you can find further details about them and how to enter below.

Show Jumping

Monday 22nd August

This competition is aimed at members 12 years old or above riding any Grade of British Show Jumping/Show Jumping Ireland registered or non-registered horse or pony 14hh (142cm) or above. The course is designed to test the horse and rider combinations, with the first round max height 1.20m, and the second half of the course at 1.25m. A rider may only ride a maximum of three horses/ponies in the competition. The course is run on Table A9 rules and the best five scores or all clear rounds qualify for a jump-off against the clock. Eventing

Monday 22nd August

This competition is open to any individual Member of the Pony Club riding any level of horse or pony. The British Eventing Intermediate 118 test is used, Show Jumping will be to BE Intermediate Novice height (1.20m) and Cross country will be PC Open height (1.10m). Dressage

Friday 19th August

This competition is open to any Member of the Pony Club riding any level of horse or pony and the British Dressage Medium 73 test is used. The competition is run under Pony Club Rules. For more details please click here.

Dressage to Music

20th-21st August

There are three individual classes and a pairs class taking place over two days. The winner of each individual class – novice, intermediate and open – will go forward to a ride-off to determine the overall individual winner. All classes are held in a 20m x 60m arena.
