Dodson & Horrell Bursary

Flint & Denbigh member Brier Leahy has made it to the top 3 in the Dodson & Horrell Bursary competition in the ‘Inspirational Rider’  category following her return to riding and competing after her devastating Eventing fall in 2013. The winners of each of four categories will be chosen by a public online vote on the Dodson & Horrell website and voting closes on Thursday 28th April. Would you mind please spending a few minutes of your time and voting for Brier? Thank you very much.

Triathlon Results

Eight very keen, happy, honed athletes represented Flint & Denbigh Hunt Branch on April 17th at the Triathlon in Denbigh. As you can see from the pictures, they returned home covered in rosettes and medals. A team of 4 – Neisha Roberts, Leah Lamb, Imogen Kissane and Scarlett Owen – came 2nd.  Neisha did particularly well individually by winning the Mini Girls by about 500 points and getting the top swim and run medals.  Her run time was an amazing 3 min 44 secs for 1000m. Scarlett Owen shot very well.

The other three competitors were placed in their classes – Harriett  and Margaret Goodall and Orla Kissane.

Casper Kissane was their mascot!
