There are 50 members who have not renewed their membership. They will not be allowed at any Pony Club event until they have paid the subscription, and will now be treated as New Members and need to start the 3 rallies from the date they rejoin.

Horse of the Year Show

Pony Club Show Jumping at Chatsworth Horse Trials
Chatsworth Horse Trials are running Pony Club Team Show Jumping this year on Sunday 15th May. Please find attached a schedule.
Winter League Show Jumping
Saturday saw the final competition of the season of the Area 5 Winter League Show Jumping. We were all on tenterhooks, as many of our riders were unavailable because of school commitments, and so we didn’t have a team for class 1 or class 2. Carys Roberts stepped into class 3 for us, as this was a close call for the 2015/16 cup.
Flint & Denbigh have had brilliant season results, the Class 1 team were 2nd overall, the Class 2 team have won (by quite a few points!), the Class 3 team have won, and the Open Class team were 2nd. With two cups and numerous rosettes, we are a very proud Branch!
I’m not going to name any individuals, but we have had some riders that have really helped out during the season, turning out at nearly every competition, happy to slot in any class required, and working as part of a team and not as individuals.
Thank you also to all the parents for running around, to Bethan & Eirian for running the Training evenings over the season, to Mal Toner, Ceri Hughes, Penny Oakland and Chris Leahy for their result texts, and to Mal for keeping such a sharp eye on all the scores, making sure all was correctly scored at every event.
The training is continuing throughout the Summer season – dates are on the website. We would love to see new riders coming forward for next season’s competitions, now is the time to start training!!
