Once again the Flint and Denbigh Triathletes did not let the Branch down. Everyone did their very best for the teams and there were a number of PB’s in running and swimming.
There were competitors from all over Wales with 16 Branches represented as it was a qualifying competition for the Winter Triathlon Championships in Milton Keynes later in March.
Flint and Denbigh teams were 2nd, 8th and 12th out of 17 teams.
The team that came 2nd was
- Ben Read,
- William Stone,
- Leah Lamb and
- Orlagh Toner. They were brilliant.
Individual results were Ben Read 3rd in Senior Boys with the top run, William came 1st in the Mini Boys with the top swim and top run, Leah Lamb came 2nd in 8/9 yr old with the top shoot and Imogen Kissane was 3rd.
First in the Pre mini girls was Harriett Pownall with top swim (you have never seen anyone so delighted), Daisy Stone came 2nd with top BBag and Orla Kissane was 3rd with the top run.
