Dressage Clinic

There are 2 extra dates with Paul Davies on 19th November and 11th December, from 6pm until 8pm. They will be held at Fferm, Bodelwyddan and the cost will be £10 each with a maximum of 3 in each group. The purpose of these will be:

  1. as an introduction to dressage, making it fun and informative
  2. for those of you who want to improve your test and style.

Reminder: 3 rally rule for Teams

Three, Four or Five riders who must be active members of the stated Branch of the PC who have participated in a minimum of 3 working rallies of this or their previous Branch, since 1st July in the previous year, excluding team practices and coaching. Attendance at camp counts as 1 rally.

Winter League Show Jumping

The next competition is Dwyfor at Bryn Derw on Sun, Nov 29th.  Aloma will need entries by no later than Sun 23rd Nov, cheques for £12 to Dwyfor Pony CLub, and send to Aloma Wheway, Penanner, Ffordd Abergele, Betws yn Rhos, Ll228af.

There are no Schedules for 5th Dec, 12th Dec at Southview yet, but if you want to send cheques in, they will be £14 per rider, CHS, and Berwyn Cheshire Forest.

Winter League Show Jumping Results

The team of Ophelia, Eben, Harri and Twm all rode well at Southview this Saturday: Harri and Twm rode lovely double clears with both placed individually, Harri 4th and Twm 6th; and the team finished in 6th position.

In Class 2 the Flint & Denbigh team of Sali Wyn-Wheway, Jac Cernyw, Rhys Cernyw and Carys Ann Robers also rode well, with Jac Cernyw and Carys Ann Roberts riding lovely double clears. Jac finished in 2nd place and Carys 3rd; the team ending up in 4th place.

In Class 3 Georgia Jones rode a fabulous double clear, winning the competition individually. Millie Dalton also rode a double clear and finished 3rd individual. Joining them was Sian Lind, with team placing of 6th.

Flint & Denbigh had their first Class 4 team of the season(!) of Catrin Evans, Sophie Toogood, Ben Read and Brier Leahy. The team finished in 1st, with Ben 3rd, Catrin 4th and Sophie 6th individually.

Thank you to Ceri, Sarah, Chris and Penny for keeping the scores, and to all the younger individuals who missed other competitions on Saturday and for their commitment to the Flint & Denbigh teams.
