Congratulations to both Bethan & Debbie Miller for being awarded the Cubitt Award last week for over 20 years of volunteering with the Pony Club.

Camp Enrolment Evening TONIGHT

Applications should now all be in. If you have not paid, please bring cheque made out to “Flint & Denbigh Hunt Branch Pony Club”.

  • Hat Tagging: only bring hats if they need tagging
  • Flu Vaccination Certificates to be brought to be checked
  • Duty Rota: parents need to sign up for duties during camp, setting up & dismantling. £75 to be paid if unable to help for at least 5 hours.
  • DRB certificates: please bring along if you will be staying overnight during camp. It can be one that has been done for your work.

Amy Miller will be organising polocrosse on foot for the members that come along this evening.

Strimming at Camp: 7th July from 7pm

Please put this date in your diary as we will need parents with strimmers to help strim area by stalls, grid, etc.

Area Show Jumping

Area Show Jumping will take place this year at Bolesworth Castle, CH3 9HQ on 18th July.

If you are interested in representing the Flint and Denbigh and being either part of a team or as an individual please get in touch with Chris Leahy by email (leahymc@btopenworld.com) as soon as possible.

All the eligibility rules are in the Pony Club Showjumping Rule book and this can easily be downloaded off the Pony Club website if you don’t have a copy.

The qualifying classes start at 90cm and go up to 1.10m.

Area Dressage Competition – 28th June at Somerford Park

For those of you who would like to compete at this year’s area dressage competition, please download the entry form and complete all sections bar the team/ind section. Post with a cheque made payable to CHNPC to Jane Grindal, Ty Mawr Farm, Bodelwyddan LL18 5UY by Monday 15th June.

As you can see from schedule there are warm up classes and an open competition you can also enter.

There will be a test riding day held at Ty Mawr for those competing at Area Competition on 20th June at Ty Mawr Farm, more details will follow.

Wheatland Hunt Tetrathlon/Triathlon & Hunter Trials

Entries close 12th June. There are classes suitable for all from 4 years old and the competition is open to non PC members (subject to 3rd Party insurance cover).
