Website Update

After too long an absence, the What’s on the next 7 days returns to the website along with an updated and current calendar //fndponyclub.org.uk/events-page/. Please remember though, the Calendar and What’s On is based on the dates in the fixture list and the dates and time are liable to change. Please check with the event or trainer organiser for current and accurate timings!

Fixture List May-September 2015

The Fixture List May 2015 – September 2015 and booking forms have been uploaded to the Flint & Denbigh website under Newsletters. Please ‘Book In’ in plenty of time so that the organiser knows how many badges, hours and instructors are needed. A day or two before the event is NOT ACCEPTABLE. If you are unable to attend please let the Organiser know in plenty of time, as there may be a waiting list.

Payment must also accompany the Booking Form – your place is not secure until payment is received (Llandyrnog District does not use Booking Forms – email Iona to Book In).

Any updates will be sent out on the Weekly News.

Area 5 Mounted Games Competition

Flint & Denbigh are once again hosting the above competition, on Sunday 31st May near Caerwys. Preparations are well underway, but organisers could do with a few more volunteers to help with equipment, etc. throughout the day. Please email Rosemary if you are able to help (rosemaryarwyn@yahoo.co.uk).

Area Horse Trials

Reminder: you must enter yourself – not through Louise or Mari. If would like to be in a team you need to enter the A classes. Then let Louise know you have entered by email (david.shepherd10@btopenworld.com) so she and Mari can team select before the closing date.

If you are unsure to which class to enter please contact Mari (07767 481089 or marijones900@hotmail.com) or Louise (07780 971681).

Cheshire Shield Horse Trials and Area 5 Qualifier

Please find attached the schedule and entry form for the above event, as well as some information regarding 3rd party/public liability insurance. Note that this year’s event is on a SATURDAY, NOT Sunday as many of you have been used to. As in previous years, the event not only includes the 2015 Area 5 qualifier but also sections for non-Pony Club members in all classes. It is therefore expected that the demand for places will be very high and entries will need to be submitted as early as possible.

Once again, those Pony Club Branches wishing to enter teams are able to leave team selection almost until the last minute. All riders/branches should submit entries for individuals by the closing date of MONDAY 22nd JUNE and team selection from those individual entries does not need to be notified (by email would be preferred) until MONDAY the 29TH JUNE.

It is important, however, that ALL RIDERS HAVE ENTERED BY THE 22nd JUNE REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR NOT THEY ARE TO BE INCLUDED IN A TEAM.

Please use a separate entry form for each rider/horse combination entry.
