Fun Day at Plas Dolben

Thank you to every one who attended the Fun day on Saturday. We really couldn’t have asked for much better weather, as you can see from the photos! The younger group started the day with a vigorous walk up Iona’s mountain, while the older group went on a slightly longer mountain ride led by Rhian and Amy. While the ponies recovered from the morning’s exercise, the riders hunted for Easter eggs in the orchard and also had a go with the polocrosse racquets.

Later in the afternoon the riders got back on their ponies and did some handy pony and mounted games, and had a go at picking up the polocrosse ball off the ground and riding with it. Even though there were a lot of tired ponies and riders by the end of the afternoon, some still had enough in them to have a go over some of the cross country jumps.

Hope you all enjoyed the day. Thank you also to Amy, Fran & Rhian for their help.
