Pony available for Mini Camp
Helen Amor has a 12.2 pony that would love to go to mini camp if anyone is without a pony. He’d be great on the lead rein or for a more competent child (helenreb@hotmail.com).

Junior Inter-Hunt Relay at Cheshire Show
Flint & Denbigh were successful at the Cheshire Show on Tuesday 17th June coming 4th out of 8 teams. This is the first time Flint & Denbigh Juniors have competed in the Hunt Relay at the show in Tabley.
We were one of, if not the youngest team competing:
- Jac Cernyw age 13 on George
- Alex Major, 14 on Midnight
- Lois Williams 13 on Jim
- Ffion Thomas 14 on Baly B
They worked as a team and beat Sir Watkin Wynn’s team on time and points in the first round. In another round they were pipped at the post by Cheshire South and Berwyn & Dee went on to win 1st prize.
A big thank you to Jane Geoff Roberts for training the team at Dyfnog and well done to the team.
Mounted Games Teams at Zone
One junior and one senior team travelled to Moreton Morrell at the weekend to compete in the Zone Finals, for a place at the Pony Club Championships.
The junior team of Gwenan Roberts, Alex Owen, Katie Davies, Jacob Edghill and Ellie Richardson had a tough time up against some very fast junior teams! They qualified for a couple of finals and finished 11th out of 14.
The senior team of Daniel Evans, Alys Williams, Joe Owen, Lois Williams and Eden Greaves got off to a terrible start when Daniel’s pony slipped over in the first race: the first of many ponies to slip during the morning. They qualified for a couple of finals, but it all came down to the last race: the Big Sack. Unfortunately they didn’t make it into the final and their two closest rivals did! They finished in 9th position, so they’re still off to the Pony Club Championships, for the Intermediate Championships.
