Well Done to Georgia Cabb who jumped on the Welsh 148 pony Team on the 1st November at South View Equestrian Centre, Nantwich. Woody and Georgia have been on F&D winter league teams and stood in for Brier this summer.
C+ Horse & Pony Care Test
- Congratulations and well done to Olivia Dalton, Ben Read, Ffion Thomas and Amy Platt for passing the H and PC part of the C+ test last week.
- Congratulations to Constance Braunton for being awarded the Pony Racing Competition Badge. Constance attended the PRA/PC Training Day at Aintree Racecourse.
Winter League Show Jumping
- Apologies to Emily Mcparland and her pony Maisey who won the individual 1st prize at the Gwynedd Winter League at Bryn Derw. With all the soggy paperwork, which was unreadable following such a wet day, I had forgotten to mention in last weeks weekly. Well done Emily!
The next competition is Dwyfor Winter League Show Jumping on November 24th at Bryn Derw. Please do not leave it until last minute to enter, we do give you plenty of warning and work hard to sort out teams for the closing date.
Please send a cheque made out to Dwyfor Branch of the Pony Club and send to Aloma Wyn – Wheway, Penanner, Abergele Road, Betws yn Rhos by NO LATER THAN Saturday, November 17th.

Pony Club Show
Thank you to all the members who supported the F&D Branch Show at Northop last Friday. It went really well and we were so lucky that we were all indoors on such a wet day. A big thank you to all the parents, committee and young instructors who came to help on the day, it was very much appreciated and helped the day to run smoothly. F&D Dengie Dressage Competition
Well Done to all the F&D members who competed at the Dengie Winter League Dressage on Sunday. The day went well despite the heavy rain in the morning. Congratulations to F&D members Georgia Webb & Rebeca Owen who were 1st & 2nd in the Open Class and have qualified for the Area Competition in March.
