Sunday 3rd November saw Flint and Denbigh Pony Club riders compete at a very hotly contested Winter League Dressage Competition, organised and hosted by our Branch at Maelor EC. The standard of riding in both Novice and Intermediate classes was extremely high, and Flint and Denbigh competitors did incredibly well. In the Novice class, everyone posted really good scores, all over 60% and some well over 70%, with Georgia Webb qualifying on a score of 74.8%. In the Intermediate class, we had a clean sweep! Georgia Web won with 74.13%, closely followed by Rebeca Owen in second place with 72.4%, both of whom qualified, and Rebecca Parry took 5th slot with 68.6%.

A really great day, with some atrocious weather to warm up in early on for some of our younger riders, and yet everyone of our members competing did us proud! Well done all!

Thank you … Paul Davies
