Hunting

A very disappointing turn out for the information evening. However Lucy and Louise would like all members that intend coming out hunting to read the attached information.
All members are welcomed to come out on any day, but please ring Lucy, Louise or myself first, so that we can let you know where we will be meeting.

Thanks … Bethan

Reminder … Dress Code Attached

Please note that ‘hoodies’ are NOT to be worn when riding at pony club fixtures. This is from the Pony Club rule book and not only a rule in the F&D branch.

Show Jumping at Bryn Derw

It was a miserable and very wet day for the Gwynedd competition, but all our riders were turned out lovely. The warming up area was very sticky to say the least, and we all tried to dodge heave showers to warm up!!

Class 1 ran on for quite a few hours, resulting in some lorries having to park on the main road for up to an hour, the support to Bryn Derw was one of the best seen for a long time.  All the riders rode well , with our WL team ending on 8 penalties, and just out of the rosettes this time.

Class 2 and the under 13s, we had 3 teams, who all rode well. The WL team came home with a very well deserved 2nd,  Jac Cernyw, Tegan Houston, Sali Wyn – Wheway and Libby Edwards who was also placed individual 6th after a lovely steady double clear with Milton.

We had one team in Class 3, and as it was late by this time, they came  home with team 3rd rosettes, but have since been informed that we were actually 5th, but all rode well, and running well into the evening, Rebeca Parry had individual 2nd for us in  Class 4.

Thank you all for your patience all day, and being ready on time which makes my job so much easier,  and we look forward to some drier WL days ahead!!

Thanks … Chris, Kath & Aloma
