Tetrathlon Sept 14 and 15th Winsford
Well we all had a real soaking but it did not dampen the spirits of all who took part in this competition.
Eight F and D’s participated at a farm venue near Winsford. The heavens opened just as they started to do the running across open fields. There were many PB’s achieved which is what it is all about.
Lily and Scarlett seemed to be having a brilliant time—always smiling and they both came home with rosettes.
Hermione came 2nd in her class with the top shoot (880) of the whole competition ! Well done.
Robyn Griffiths—competing in her 1st Tetrathlon came 3rd in her class. She had some trouble on the XC but had top shoot in her class with 860. How brill is that !
Ben Read came 2nd in the Jun Boys with—yet again – top shoot in his class – 860.
We had 3 girls in the Junior girls class – Meg Goodey, Madeline and Eloise. They came 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively. Meg had top shoot of 820 and top swim medal, Madeline won the top run medal and Eloise did a PB in the shoot and her swim.
The Junior Team won a huge shield. See Picture !
There was a great atmosphere and we enjoyed a lovely BBQ while waiting for the results.
