Once again the sun shone on Plas Dolben for the F&D members who attended Iona’s Fun Day, which consisted of a mountain ride in the morning, after a picnic lunch the kids enjoyed hunting for chocolate egg’s in the orchard, ponies were then tacked up and hacked across the fields to where Suzy & Nan were waiting.
The riders were split into two group’s, Suzy & Nan looked after the mounted games and Iona judged the handy pony and mounted paper trail/quiz. At the end of the day members had the opportunity to practise their cross country skills and encourage each other to have a go at jumping the varied XC obstacles.
Throughout the day there was a fantastic camaraderie and atmosphere with all the members enjoying quality time with their ponies and friends. On behalf of everybody who attended yesterdays Fun Day we would like to thank Gareth, Iona, Suzy & Nan for making their day sooooo much fun and giving everybody the opportunity to have a go.
