Area 5 Triathlon Alsager Saturday 23rd Feb 2013

Flint and Denbigh Hunt PC had 12 competitors put in 3 teams.  There were 10 teams in all and the F’n’D “ Flint” team came a very commendable 4^th.  It was mad up of 4 Mini Girls

• Megan Woodcock,
• Mia and Neisha Roberts and
• Ceri Jones.

Outstanding performances came from  _

Ceri Jones who came 2^nd in the Mini Girls and qualified to go onto the Triathlon Championships in Milton Keynes.  She just pipped Mia into 3^rd place but Mia had the top run medal.  Megan Woodcock came 6^th – her shooting let her down on the day.  Orlagh Toner shot extremely well (840) but her run was not up to scratch that day.  Eloise Blackwell and Madeline Maher (newcomers to the competition) had an enjoyable day and Madeline qualified as a Junior for the Champs.  Ben Read ran a blinder but felt unwell in the swimming.  Steph Parsley shot really well, Anna Thomas did a brilliant swim,  Hermione had a steady competition but is getting to grips with her new gun.

April 7^th One Day Tet in Llandyrnog (SJ) –  come and have a go.
