Well done to all of you who took part in our WL SJ competition last Sunday. We had a mixed bag of results but I think you all rode really well the league placings now look extremely healthy for classes 1 and 4 !! Also thank you very much for your help both setting up and on the day as these competitions couldn’t run without volunteers.

Team and individual placings for our Northop competition as follows:
Class 1
Smarties winter league team won with the Magic stars a close second and the Jelly Babies came in 6th so a great result for our 10 and unders, individually Harvey Boyd and Rocco were 3rd and Beatrice Blockly and Sunny were 4th.
Class 2
Our Maltesers team were 2nd in this class with the Spangles 3rd and the Tuti Fruities 5th. Jess Boden and Zoe had a fab round and came 2nd individually with Eleri Reece Jones and Minnie coming in 6th.
Class 3
Again in this class our winter league team didn’t have a good day but our Blackjacks came in first with Barley Sugars 4th and Murray Mints 5th. Individually Brier Leahy and Stanley were 3rd and Lily Ann Pardoe and Harry came in 4th.
Class 4
This was a very keenly fought class which we unfortunately lost by 1.5 seconds!! The Pear Drops were 2nd and the Sherbet Lemons 3rd. Individually Mari Edwards and Rocky did a cracking round to come in 2nd with Brier Leahy and Lara 3rd.
The next and final competition is on the 9th of March at Somerford and if you haven’t already sent me your cheque please do so asap so that i can organise the teams and get everything sent off before the closing date. The schedule is attached and the cost is £14 per class made to CHNPC. (Cheques/PO’s only please). Please write class, name, age and pony name on reverse.
