Hunting Certificate
Congratulations to Clara Davies Cooke, Sarah Stewart and Ruby Dunford for getting their Hunting Certificate. The three girls have been hunting regularly with the Flint and Denbigh Hunt this season.

Mounted Games Study Day
I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone involved in the Study Day held on 24th February in Maelor Equestrian Centre. Trainers and parents attended from most of the Area 5 pony clubs and Flint and Denbigh parents got a chance to learn how to line steward in time for the upcoming friendly competitions. Marion Harding came up from Mid Wales to be the chief steward for the day and we had help from experienced line stewards and trainers.
The seniors put up with very cold weather and a bit of snow in the outside arena, but did a great job of demonstrating the races and making a few mistakes to demonstrate corrections. Intentional mistakes obviously!?Thankfully we were able to move into the indoor arena for the junior session, otherwise we might have had some blue children by the end! The juniors had a fun session demonstrating their races, and it gave them a chance to learn how to correct their mistakes.

Cefn Summer Rallies start on Monday May 6th, 6pm until 8pm, if you would like to teach at some of the rallies please could you let me know your availability. I will try my best to give you a rally, if not more, depending on the groups. Please let me know who your mentor is.

Please Check your Tack
Could I ask all parents to please check that their children’s stirrup irons are the correct size for the foot, not too small or too big. You should be able to put a finger either side of the foot when in the stirrup iron correctly. Also please check the stitching on the stirrup leathers.
These are points that are looked at closely in Tack Checks before competitions.

The Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials
Thursday 2nd – Monday 6th May 2013
Badminton Horse Trials are kindly offering a special 15% discount on advance tickets for Coach and Minibus parties from Pony Club Branches and Centres. There are no special rates for cars.
Rates
- These special rates are available in advance only and no refund can be made in the case of any unused tickets. If there are people on the Coach or Minibus without prepaid advance tickets, extra tickets may be bought at the Gate, but at the full daily rate.
- Coaches and Minibuses will be directed to the special Coach Park. The parking charge for all vehicles (in advance) is £10 per day.
The discounted personal admission charges are:

Final Request
- It was suggested at the AGM that some members may like to have Bodywarmers to wear while riding at Rallies. These will only be available by order, I will not be keeping a stock of all sizes.
- They are Black with a small Red logo on the front, same as the logo on the front of the PC Jackets.
- They are from the same company as the sweatshirts, so sizing should be similar.
- If you would like to order one, please complete the attached order form and post with a cheque for the correct amount made payable to “F&D Hunt Branch of the PC.”
- Age 2- 12 years ( 20?-30? ) are £22 XS – L ( 34? – 42? ) are £29.50 as they have VAT on them.
