Report on Triathlon Area 5 Tetrathlon, Mold, October 27th 2012
What a super competition we had – and the sun shone all day.
We had 12 F and D members entered and all, except one, came home with at least one rosette or medal (pony treats too) !
There were 12 teams competing and the Flint ‘n Denbigh “Flint” team WON,
- Ceri Jones,
- Mia Roberts,
- Ben Read and
- Orlagh Toner.
The F’n D “Denbigh“ team was 5th ,
- Meg Goodey,
- Huw Jones,
- Hermione Williams and
- Scarlet Owen.
Individually – Twm Cernyw won the Pre Mini Boys with a top run and swim.
Huw Jones and Rhys Cernyw were 3rd and 4th respectively in the Mini boys.
Ceri Jones and Mia Roberts were 4th and 5th in the Mini Girls with scores of 2462 and 2460 – only 2 points between them!
Ben Read won the Junior Boys with an amazing 1-handed shoot of 900.
Meg Goodey was 2nd in the Junior Girls with a PB 1-handed shoot of 840 and a super swim.
