Our Summer Show which was held at Ystrad on Sunday 12th August 2012 was well supported by members, unfortunately the first couple of classes were held in monsoon conditions, when the sun eventually decided to appear we soon dried out to enjoy the full benefit of Ystrad and the surrounding views. The children and their ponies where immaculately turned out and demonstrated excellent riding and jumping skills throughout the day which is a credit to the F&DPC.
I would like to thank Mr G. Brookes for his continued support in allowing us to run the Summer Show at Ystrad and also the judges Tess Chew (Equitation & Young Handlers), Jane Gough-Roberts (Show Jumping), Charlotte & Elizabeth Fear (Working Hunter) and Fran Hughes (Handy Pony & Gymkhana) for all their hard work and encouraging comments they gave to the competitors, making it a fulfilling experience.
I would also like to thank all the parents and older members, especially Iona, Sarah, Nia, Hannah, Sian, Ceri and Alwyn, Kevin and Emma who all gave up their time to help set up, organise and run the event, without their support we would not be able to run such a successful show.

Owen Equine Clinic Ltd, F&D Pony Club Tack and Spunhill who’s financial support has enabled us to increase our profit margins from the show which will therefore benefit each of the four District‘s within the F&DPC and contribute towards subsidising future F&DPC fixtures.
