Many thanks to all who participated to help make the day so successful. You really were a great lot of competitors. Special thanks to those riders in Class 1 who were delayed doing their dressage/show jumping but came down to the XC with very little delay. It really helped us to catch up on time.
The weather we had booked was a little late in arriving but overall it was gentle with us and did not interrupt proceedings.
Many thanks also to all of you who have taken the trouble to write and tell us what a great day you had – regardless of results.
Apologies that we did run a little late but the cross-country course was concluded by 6.55 p.m. and the final prize-giving was about 8 p.m.
Our best wishes go to Maddie Beckett who unfortunately suffered a fall in the show jumping warm-up arena and had to go to hospital as a precaution. However, we understand she suffered nothing worse than bumps and bruises and will soon be back in the saddle. Really annoying for her that she only got to do the dressage!
