… Hosted by Berwyn & Dee and Tanatside

Mostly a very good day once again for Flint and Denbigh, so well done everyone and thank you to Berwyn & Dee and Tanatside for a well run, friendly competition.

The results were as follows:

Class 1 – a great effort by our little 10 and unders resulted in the team coming 3rd with

  • Fifth … Beatrice Blockly and Sunny Delight individually and
  • Sixth … Sophie Wilson and Billy.

Class 2 – another great result! The team won by an amazing 20 seconds with Ffion Roberts and Frosty winning overall. Ffion is the youngest in this class by 3 years and has either won or come second in the last 3 competitions!! Well done Ffion. Megan Goodey and Joe, who have also been in the top 5 in all the competitions so far were a very creditable 3rd and Georgia Jones and Andys Oscar came in 4th. Brilliant.

  • First … Ffion Roberts and Frosty,
  • Third … Megan Goodey and Joe,
  • Fourth … Georgia Jones and Andys Oscar.

Class 3 – were even more amazing this time as not only did they win the class but also had 1st to 4th individually. With 4 teams finishing on zero faults it came down to time and we were almost 30 seconds faster than the 2nd place team. Go girls!! Individual order was …

  • First … Suzi Williams and Al,
  • Second … Georgia Cabb and Smartie,
  • Third … Shannon Williams and Billy and
  • Fourth … Nan Jones and Ginny.

What a result!!!

Class 4 – mmmm. Not so good for the Open Winter League team this time. Having won this class twice and a 3rd once, this week we were not even placed, neither as a team or individually, but that’s show jumping!! The horses had a long day and got to watch some fireworks from the car park, which didn’t go down too well with some of them, but fingers crossed that they will be back on form next time.

Next competition is on November 26th at Bryn Derw so if you wish to go and have not yet entered please send me your cheques asap. Please note that there is a Dengie but NO open class at this competition. (£10 per class, £12 for dengie and made to DWYFOR BRANCH OF PONY CLUB).

Many thanks … Chris
