Important Camp Details

On the first morning of both camps, please leave all horses and ponies in their trailers or lorries until after the DC’s talk and you are asked to unload.

Main Camp

Mrs Bradshaw is going to call in at camp to show all members how to tie a Stock correctly. Please bring your own stocks with you.

On the last day of Main Camp, Friday 29th July, could all parents arrive for 12.00 pm to help clear away all camp equipment, while the PC members are having lunch. The Fundraising Event will start at 1.30 pm and prize giving for all at 3.00 pm.

Fundraising

We would like as much support as possible from all members and their families and friends, not only the ones at camp. There will be cakes, second hand tack, bring & buy, books, plants, raffle, side shows, etc so please support this event, all proceeds to the Animal Health Trust.

I hope you have all got some items to donate, bring them with you to Camp, Mini Camp and leave them with me. (Iona)

Don’t forget Setting Up Thursday 6.00pm at camp field or 4.30 pm at Katy’s.

Could any parents who intend calling at the lock up for equipment please let me know, so that I can organise the trailers. We only need 3 or 4 horse trailers or 2 large flat trailers but we do need help to load, so it would be helpful if I knew before hand. garethion@hotmail.com

Thanks … Iona

I will have the Camp T shirts, Red & Black sweatshirts, Jackets, Ties, Badges, PC Manuals, Jodi’s, Jodi Boots, Whips etc  all with me in the caravan at camp.

SHOW JUMPING

I thought you might want to let the members interested in SJ aware that Maelor EC is running Grass Roots classes on 31/7, 3/9 and 24/9, as part of its BS competition diary.

No British Showjumping membership is required, classes run from 70cms to 1.00m and it costs £10 per class for entry. The riders are also able to qualify for regional and national finals too. Ponies and horses eligible. It provides riders with the feel of affiliated classes, with courses built by BS course builders, but without the affiliation costs – a nice stepping stone for those hoping to affiliate in the future.

Would it be possible to let the members know about this and refer them to the following link for further information.
