… the weather had been beautiful but for this day only it decided to be awkward!
Iona’s place is a beautiful setting, and I’d like to extend many thanks for letting us loose on her patch!
The day started with the faster riders off first, after the horses had their heart rates taken for the Endurance check – sadly, they took longer than expected to return as they took a wrong turn and got a bit lost – but return they did and they all had a great adventure. Heart rates were checked on return and recorded. The lead rein ride left later and they too had a great ride out.
After a snack break it was off to do easter egg hunt – one egg each but not all were found!
Following lunch it was mounted games & treasure hunt (on horseback) – the games were enjoyed by all & we all needed our thinking caps on for the treasure hunt!
