CANCELLED – F&DPC CHRISTMAS FUN SHOW 28th DECEMBER DUE TO ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS
Having just watched the news and the predicted weather forecast for the week I have decided to cancel the F&DPC Christmas Show which was to be held this coming Tuesday on 28th December, the adverse weather conditions don’t look like they are going to get any better and once the snow starts to melt we are going to be left with that dreadful ice again, so for health and safety reasons we’ll leave it for another day.
I would like to say a big thank you to all our judges who kindly agreed to give up their own time to help out at the show; hopefully we can call on you again in the future.
Regards … Laura
We will try and re-schedule the show for sometime in the New Year, when the weather gets a bit warmer. Wishing you all a Happy Christmas and a successful New Year.
Charity of the Year 2010
You will now have received your copies of The Pony Club Annual and noticed that its publication was possible with the generous support of The Animal Health Trust (AHT) , who have been chosen as The Pony Club’s charity 2010.
The AHT is a veterinary charity dedicated to improving the health and welfare of horses, dogs and cats. Disease and injury are the most common threats to animal welfare, and the AHT exist to reduce and prevent any unnecessary suffering. Further information about the AHT can be found at www.aht.org.uk.
The Pony Power Campaign
The AHT have devised the Pony Power Campiagn to help help Branches and Centre Fundraise for them. By supporting the Pony Power campaign, you can help AHT to find ways of beating Strangles, Laminitis and Grass Sickness – both through prevention and cure.
AHT need support to continue our vital work creating a happy, healthy and successful future for horses and ponies. Please raise what you can – every penny will make a difference.
