Today's Treasure Hunt Ride (26th September 2015). F&D junior members had a fun afternoon searching for clues and jumping logs, a big thank you goes to Lisa and Hugh Edwards for organising and running this event on their land and giving the children the opportunity to ride in the open and have fun. Lovely two days spent at Plas Dolben, which hosted the first phase of the FnDPC Tetrathlon as well as a Hunter Trial on the Saturday followed by the shoot, run and swim on the Sunday. The cross country course was beautifully built and kids rode it brilliantly. The gate in the time section proved influential and a bit tricky for some. A BIG thank you once again to Iona, Gareth and Rhian for all their hard work in building, preparing and hosting this excellent PC event for the kids so that they can gain experience at riding cross country and also the team of volunteers who give up their time to steward and fence judge; it is very much appreciated. Day two of the Tetrathlon (Sunday) consisted of shooting an air pistol at a moving target 10 times, followed by a 1000m cross country run for the under 11's and finally a 2 minute swim. The kids gave 110% and cheered each other on, a fantastic team atmosphere and very proud to be part of it. Well done everyone. Fabulous couple of days!!!
