A reminder to you that there are monthly dressage lessons with Paul Davies and Mari O’Connor. At the moment they are held at Fferm, Bodelwyddan and cost £20 for 45 min. There is only 3 months until the Area Dressage and we would love to send a team for each levels Novice, Intermediate and Open.

We have spaces for this Saturday 11th March with Paul Davies. Contact Jane Grindal (07890 197492 or dressage@fndponyclub.org.uk) to book on.

Area 5 Dengie Dressage Final

Two members from Flint & Denbigh qualified and competed in the snow at the Area 5 Dengie Dressage finals on Sunday. Steph Parsley rode a nice test in the Intermediate class, gaining joint 6th in the competition. Sali Wyn-Wheway and Alffi rode in only their 3rd ever test together, and gaining 3rd place have now qualified for the Pony Club Dengie Dressage Championships 2017 which will be held at Addington Manor, Buckingham in April.  Congratulations to both of you on a lovely turn out in horrendous conditions and doing so well.

Winter League Show Jumping

Winter League has finished for the season. Flint & Denbigh had a good day at Bold Heath on Saturday for the Cheshire Hunt North Pony Club competition.

  • The Class 3 team were placed 3rd with Orlagh gaining individual 4th.
  • Millie Dalton came 4th in the area 5 Dengie final which means she’s off to Adlington for the final
  • Class 1 and 2 came 2nd overall on the league table and class 3 won their league

A massive well done to you all. I would just like to thank riders, parents, Louise and Jane for their commitment and support throughout the season. Bethan Edwards
