Celebration of Area 5 of the Pony Club

All Championship competitors are invited to come and take part in a mounted parade. This is an opportunity to see the winning Musical rides and the Pairs Dressage to Music. There will be a fun type Hunt relay between teams – come and cheer your teams along. Bring your friends and show them what we get up to in the Pony Club. 6th November at Northop Equestrian Centre, 2pm until 4.30pm. Free entry. Aberconwy Winter League Show Jumping

Entries are now being taken for the next competition at Maelor on 29th October. Please send entries to Bethan Edwards, Bryn Clwyd, Hendrerwydd, Denbigh, Denbighshire, LL16 4LL no later than Monday 24th October; with cheques made payable to Aberconwy Branch of Pony Club.

We would all like to thank Aloma for her hard work over the last four years for her involvement with the Winter League competitions and entries.

Gwynedd Winter League Show Jumping – Results

Sunday was a very long but successful day.

Class 1 had a lot of entries. A big well done to Elia Davies, Ophelia Godberford-Orton, Lucia MacPhearson and Scarlett Owen on being placed 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th. Class 2 Winter League team were placed 5th: well done Lucia MacPhearson, Ophelia Godberford-Orton, Elia Davies and Hattie Godberford-Orton. Eben Davies and Scarlett Owen were placed in a mixed team and they finished 4th – well done. Elia was placed 1st individually.

Class 3 did really well to finish on a clear and being awarded 2nd place overall. Well done to Orlagh Toner, Faye Jones, Georgina Vaarkamp, Twm Cernyw. Orlagh was placed 5th individually. Class 4 – Dengie didn’t have many clears: well done to Scarlett Owen for qualifying on her new pony, Fragola.

Class 5 team members were Leah Jones, Millie Dalton, Jac Cernyw and Carys Roberts. After a very long day and a lot of waiting around it was certainly worth it as they won their class with individual placings for Leah in 3rd, Mille 4th and Jac 5th.

We were finally on our way home just before 8pm!

Happy Ever After offers the chance to see some of the United Kingdom’s most skilled horsemen and women in the Tournament of Knights spectacular equestrian production. Happy Ever After is a production like no other and is the only equestrian pantomime running in the UK this year. Based on the age old fairy tale Cinderella, Tournament of Knights are proud to showcase a mixture of traditional equestrian skills and sports in authentic medieval dress, mixed with a twist of modern displays of equestrian skill and fantasy. Shows have left audiences spellbound throughout the world – guaranteed to give the audience an experience they will never forget. This year the Actors, Horsemen, Jesters, and Magicians have come together away from the big screen to bring Happy Ever After to one of the country’s elite equestrian venues, Warren Farm, Formby. 

The normal price is £20 for a child however we would like to offer you a discount for group bookings of £15.00 per child with every 7th child place providing a free adult; or if Pony Club Members would like to book with their family and friends we can offer the Pony Club member the Discounted price of £15.00 per child quoting discount code ponyclub1The audience will be given an opportunity after the show to meet the actors and their horses plus collect autographs for the souvenir programme that will be available which includes information on each of the actors.
