- Neisha Roberts (Mini Girls) and
- Will Stone (Mini Boys)
all qualified to represent Flint & Denbigh PC in the Area 5 squad (17 members) at the NFU Mutual Winter Triathlon Championships at Milton Keynes on 13th March 2016.
After negotiating Milton Keynes many roundabouts we all gathered at the Stantonbury Leisure Centre with about 260 competitors from all over England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. It was a very busy day but well organised with the usual friendly atmosphere.
- Neisha scored over 1000 points in her swim and run (PB) resulting in a brilliant 10th overall.
- Will had a smile on his face all day and scored over 1000 points in his run and swim giving him 22nd place and
- Ben was happy with over 1000 points for the first time in his swim (PB) and 16th place overall.
Neisha was also in one of the Area 5 Teams who came a very impressive 4th of 54 Teams.
Area 5 did brilliantly overall (Report on Area 5 website). Everyone is now looking forward to the Tetrathlon season…. bring on the ponies!
